You Vs. Me

My work explores how different people use their hands in unique ways. Individuals have different ways of completing tasks even when the end result is the same, the journey they take to get there is different. This occurs because of our background, we all have different life experiences and those experiences influence how we do things. The way I complete tasks is always going to be different than how other people complete tasks. Everyone's body is different, and because of those differences they are unique. My hands, which are missing some parts, are different and people are curious beings so I am often asked how I complete tasks with using my hands. This led me to the question how do other people complete tasks with their hands. These photographs explore this question by capturing a variety of hands, belonging to different people, completing tasks.
